North American Power Group, Ltd., is a privately held company headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado. NAPG owns, operates and manages energy-related projects. Drawing upon seasoned professionals with years of experience in all facets of the energy industry, NAPG offers a full portfolio of services involving electric and gas utilities, engineering, marketing, operations, fuel procurement and management, and accounting and finance.
We are involved in acquisition and development, energy products and renewable resources, as well as energy services, energy management and power procurement and sales.
At North American Power Group, we provide our wholesale power customers with a portfolio of services that helps them meet their consumers’ needs.
We are continually looking for ways to offer the most innovative services and an even higher level of performance to each of our wholesale customers. The western U.S. is experiencing rapid growth in demand and the Rocky Mountain region is uniquely poised to become a major energy hub in the United States in the coming years. The abundant and, in many cases, untapped resources in this region combined with the rising need for energy in the U.S. will make this a critical area for energy production.
We are a local company that is uniquely suited to meet the challenges and opportunities this region presents in the most efficient and effective ways.
NAPG is a full member of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council, whose region encompasses a vast area of nearly 1.8 million square miles and whose members supply electricity to more than 71 million people in the fourteen western states, and the western provinces of Canada and Mexico. WECC is the largest and most diverse of the ten regional councils of the North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC).
